LAUGH BREAK COMEDIES AT KUNV (95.1 FM)

MGI Prez, John Duck, and Exec Director, Betty Lougaris placed the now completed 2 & 1/2 minute radio comedies into the hands of KUNV Station Manager David Reese. Beth Toy was able to put the final finishing touches on the comedies with the type of excellent intros and outros that will brand the Laugh Break comedies. Mr. Reese will listen to the 14 completed scripts, and will place them for air play at various internvals on the afternoon KUNV programs. According to Mr. Duck, if the comedies make any impact on the listening audience, we can go for a second group of 15 more scripts. Laugh Break actors gave memorable performances. The actors include John Duck, Paul Trevarthen, Dan Carpino, Allan Berke, Beth Toy, Susan Ptak, Jim Morris, Candace Wise, Jennie Ford, , Keyna Territo, Rosemary Rock, Tanja Montez, Stephen James, Gabe Gentile, Hazel Kay, Ward Duff, Betty Lougaris, Karen Fedelleck, Craig Schwartz, and deceased member, Nanette Brown. Scripts were written by Ward Duff, Mark P. Soldo and Betty Lougaris. Recorded at the KUNV studios, initial recording and editing was done by Paul James, and additional editing was performed by Ken O'Sullivan, Mary Jane Copes, and Beth Toy.

MGI VOICE TALENT RECORDED 7 PSA MESSAGES FOR VA.

Mr. John Howard, Director of Volunteer Services at the Ioannis A. Lougaris Department Of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, accepted seven PSA messages recorded by MGI Talent Pool members to promote volunteerism at the Hospital. Beth Toy engineered, edited and sweeetened the recordings at her studio in Summerlin. The PSA Messages will be played throughout the Truckee Meadows area including Carson City, Virginia City, Lake Tahoe, Genoa, Minden and Fallon. The scripts were written and direccted by Betty Lougaris. Actors who recorded included Dan Carpino, Paul Trevarthen, Michelle Whitaker ,Rosemary Rock, Judi Prane, Beth Toy, Allan Berke, Ward Duff, Charles Rath, Stephen James, and Susan Ptak.

What? Again? Keyna Territo announced the wedding of her son, and will fly to Omaha Nebraska for the Nuptials. Keyna will sing at her son's wedding next week. If you recall, Keyna recently announced the wedding of her daughter several months ago. Keyna is continuing her recording gig at PM Digital Studios.

Marcel Forestieri, appeared as Jay Leno on the TV Reality Show "Next Best Thing." We look forward to viewing his performance at one of the upcoming classes.
